A new „Latvian Fisheries Yearbook” was published in November 2011. It is a 15th issue of the Yearbook dedicated to the Latvian Fisheries. This volume of the Yearbook presents more than 20 papers of specialists and researchers devoted fishing and fish resources, fisheries management and control, fish production and fish market, aquaculture and angling.
The Yearbook includes also an annual statistics for recent years on fishing, production and realization as well as the application “Latvian Fisheries in numbers and figures”. The Yearbook includes papers in Latvian, fishery statistics is available also in English and Russian.
The „Latvian Fisheries Yearbook 2011” (800 books) will be distributed free of charge to the institutions and organizations in fisheries sector and related to fisheries, as well as libraries.
